Topographical Surveys

A topographical survey (or topo survey for short) is like creating a detailed map of the land—but it doesn’t just show where things are. It also shows what the ground looks like: how high or low it is, where the slopes are, and what features are on the surface, like trees, buildings, fences, paths, or ditches.

Why Do you Need One?

Topographical surveys are a critical step in all areas of development, whether it be designing, planning or construction. Topographical surveys provide you with an accurate representation of everything on site, including the site terrain, buildings/structures, natural and man-made features and everything in between.

If you are looking to alter land of any type, a topographical survey is essential from the start to gain a clear and accurate picture of everything on site. This way you can design out any issues before any work is carried out saving you time and money.
